Scaffold debris netting is vital in minimising danger and the risk of accidents occurring on and around construction sites. The net will catch any falling debris that could potentially injure a member of the workforce or a member of the public. Additionally it provides some protection for the workforce and the building from poor weather conditions such as wind and rain. This netting also has many other uses such as; preventing birds and other large garden pests from eating and destroying crops, and to protect fish and pond life from predators.
This netting is manufactured from high density polyethylene monofilaments creating a lightweight yet strong and reliable product. There are also black buttonhole eyelets situated every 15cms down both sides of the netting to allow easy fixing to the scaffolding. The most popular way to secure this netting, using these knitted eyelets, is with the use of cables ties. Additional fixings such as rope, bungee, and clamps can also be effective when secure the item. This 70gsm net has a mesh size of 2mm x 2mm; therefore even small bits of rubble will be caught to prevent injury. Colours available are green, black, blue and yellow in specific sizes.
