Hessian sheeting is a woven fabric often known as Burlap. It is created form the skin of the Jute plant and is a natural eco-friendly material. This type of hessian has many different uses. Typical uses are as a covering for newly laid concrete, lime work and brickwork - the sheeting helps to prevent frost and snow damage when construction is not taking place. Other uses include textiles, arts & crafts and it has been known to be used as apparel.

This Hessian can also be used as frost protection for plants and shrubs. Covering flowers and crops in your garden that are prone to damage in cold weather can help them last the winter. Other uses are; making sandbags, wedding chair saches, potato bags, etc.

Sample size will differ depending on what we have available but will be a minimum of 12cm x 6cm and  will certainly be enough to see and feel the quality of the Hessian - the cost of the sample is predominantly to cover the post & packing.

All Lengths up to and including 30m are likely to be supply folded in half width ways and then flat folded length ways for shipping. 45m lengths will be half folded width ways and supplied in roll form.
