It can be used either by itself or with spray or concentrated weed killer to help clear and prevent the growth of perennials. The garden ground cover is made from a woven polypropylene tape and is treated for UV stabilization. It will let water through to the soil it is covering along with nutrients in order to nourish the ground underneath. This membrane does not emit any chemicals into the soil and therefore is safe for use with pets and children. Make sure the fabric is secure with pins or a similar product, especially when using multiple sheets. Sheets are easy to use and can be done by any level of gardener.
