PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

QVS supply frost protection fleece in in standard 17gsm and a heavy duty 35gsm (this specific advert is for the 17gsm). Used by gardeners, landscapers and UK farmers, this long life horticultural fleece is a cheap way of saving plants and crops against severe cold weather conditions.  This frost fleece is easily cut with scissors so you can shape to suit to wrap around shrubs and pot plants and to lay over young vulnerable plants.  We supply a large range of sizes to best suit your garden.

The UV stabilisation of the product allows it to withstand degradation from rays of the sun for a longer period of time.  Another added benefit is that this fleece will help plants from unwanted visitors such as insects, foxed, rabbits and birds.

This 17gsm Fleece is a low cost solution for protecting winter crops. It can cover potted plants, trees, shrubs, flower beds, go over polytunnels and be adjusted to fit frames. Providing a barrier against rain slow, sleet and hail, it allows light to permeate the fabric therefore creating a temperate microclimate to warm plants and the ground.

Very good value - 250metres sounds a lot but if you have an allotment you will get through this amount in 10 years. It is only the thin 17g/sq metre but with the cheapness you can throw it away after 1 year rather than trying to save it and sorting through bags of tatty sheets the next year. Astonishingly useful stuff for keeping bugs off plants and keeping them warm.
