Anchor pegs are the ideal way to secure and protect the longevity of your weed control fabrics. Whether they are used with the thinner 50gsm or more heavy duty 100gsm fabric, the pegs are sturdy enough to withstand harsh weather conditions, pedestrian activity and many different types of ground and soil structure. There are two types of anchor peg available, steel pegs, suitable for harder ground and plastic pegs, suitable for softer ground types. Fashioned from recycled material the plastic pegs are 15cm long and are of barbed design, this provides extra grip in the soil and keeps the chosen fabric secure.

The steel L-shaped pegs are suitable for harder, rockier ground. Their strong construction allows them to be hammered into the soil allowing for the 3cm bar across the top to grip the fabric and keep it secure. The plastic and steel pegs are suitable for use with frost protection fleece, various garden meshes, rubber matting around playgrounds, jute and much more. For weed fabric, usually it is advised to place at least one peg every square metre, this will be enough to secure the fabric for use.
